Latest construction company news
Last week, the OFT launched proceedings against 112 construction companies alleging that they had been involved in bid rigging in breach of Competition Law. The companies concerned range from multi-billion pound national companies to SMEs.

The Board of Directors of Lafarge has approved the acquisition by Lafarge of Orascom Construction Industries Cement Group, and the principle of board representation for Groupe Bruxelles Lambert and Nassef Sawiris, majority shareholder with his family of Orascom Construction Industries.
