There can be no doubt that 2009 was an ‘annus horribilis’ for Britain’s fork truck suppliers. Figures from the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA) recently revealed that orders for forklifts fell 33.6 per cent last year, consolidating a 14.5 per cent fall during 2008.
