HLM Architects achieves planning consent for new Midlothian Community Hospital PFI(15/04/2009)
HLM Architects has achieved planning consent on behalf of NHS Lothian for its design of the new Midlothian Community Hospital PFI on land to the south of Eskbank, Road, Bonnyrigg, in Scotland. The new two-storey £18 million hospital totals 7,000 sq metres and will provide 88 beds. HLM architects create Addiewell prison facility fit for the 21st century(26/02/2009)
HMP Addiewell in West Lothian, designed by HLM architects, is Scotlands newest prison. The prison houses 700 medium and high security male prisoners and employs some 350 people. To deliver the £70 million facility, HLM worked closely with Interserve, which was responsible for the prison’s construction, and with Over Arup engineers.
