Miller Construction appointed main contractor for Friary outer scheme(26/03/2012)
The developers of Friary Outer have appointed national contractor, Miller Construction, to build the new car park and homes on the 1.8 acre site S Harrison Developments Ltd confirmed last week that the £14 million scheme had gone ‘unconditional’ with all legal issues resolved. The Blue Light Partnership, comprising Miller Construction and Bilfinger Berger Project Investments, have been named as preferred bidder for the £129 million Avon and Somerset Police Accommodation PFI Project. Miller Construction received the ‘go ahead’ as construction partner by Leicester City Council for phases 3 and 4 of the Leicester Building Schools for the Future (BSF) Programme, a total of 6 schools with a combined value of £43.9 million.
