Pascall and Watson appointed local architects for Louvre Abu Dhabi

Pascall+Watson Architects have been appointed by French architect Ateliers Jean Nouvel to provide architect of record services for the Louvre museum in Abu Dhabi. The building is scheduled to open in 2012. It will comprise a 24,000 square metre (260,000 square foot) complex, covered by a shallow dome. Pascall and Watson architects has announced the opening of its Abu Dhabi office following a series of successful tenders in the Middle East. Alan Christmas has been promoted from Associate to Regional Director to lead the office.
