Designed by architect Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson, the new James Leicester Halls building will provide 580 bedrooms for the 2010/2011 student intake at London Metropolitan University, as well as 1,000 square feet of commercial space.

Aquarian Cladding, the UK’s supplier of the Gebrik Insulating Brick Cladding System, has been awarded a contract to supply materials for a Unite student accommodation project in Islington.

Aquarian will be supplying 2,200m² of Gebrik Metropolitan Multi, designed to replicate the colour and texture of a traditional London yellow multi stock, with the first deliveries due on site at the end of November 2009.

The cladding work will be undertaken by Metclad Ltd, working with management contractor RG Group.
