John Deere Ag Management Solutions (AMS) was recently granted a patent on RTK (Real Time Kinematic) Extend, a feature on the StarFire RTK guidance system.
Temporary obstructions such as trees, hills, machine sheds, or other structures may cause RTK downtime. If the RTK signal is temporarily lost because of one of these obstructions, the operator has up to fifteen minutes to restore the signal in his vehicle before losing the RTK accuracy.

Genie Industries, the TEREX Aerial Work Platforms Division, has launched three new telehandler models: the GTH-4013, and the rotating GTH-4518R and GTH-4020R.
With a maximum lifting height of 13 m and a maximum forward reach of 9.08 m, the new Genie GTH-4013 is able to lift up to 4,000 kg. Like the other models in the Genie range, its low pivot boom provides excellent visibility.

United Group Limited has announced that its rail division, United Group Rail has been awarded over $127 million in new wagon and locomotive rolling stock contracts in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
