With the new Leica MNS1200 GNSS solution, Leica Geosystems presents a machine navigation system specifically designed for construction and mining machine operation at toughest conditions and supporting full GNSS signals (L2C and GLONASS). Robust and resilient with highest possible satellite coverage, Leica MNS1200 GNSS solution increases productivity and efficiency, reduces machine downtime and generates longer working times.

Leica MNS1200 GNSS solution is the first complete GNSS machine automation solution from Leica Geosystems that meets the demanding requirements of the construction and mining industry. It consists of three robust components - the MNS1200(GG) receiver, the MNA1202GG antenna and the radio modem.

Supporting GPS and GLONASS satellites thanks to a new Measurement Engine supporting ultra-precise GNSS signals with 72 channel, this solution optimises working around trees, in canyons, mines and sites with overhead obstructions, and it is also equipped to support future GNSS signals such as Galileo or GPS L5. More available satellites means higher productivity and efficiency for the user, longer working time and reduced machine downtimes.

Responsive performance through SmartTrack+ and SmartCheck+ technology
Getting the most accurate GPS positions even at 20 times per second with the least delay assures that operations are on track. The Leica MNS1200 GNSS receivers with the SmartTrack+ technology feature fast satellite acquisition and strongest signals that allows the user to start almost immediately and work without interruption. The Leica SmartCheck+ monitoring systems checks all results immediately, providing high possible position reliability.

The Leica MNS1200 GNSS system is fully scalable, from meter level accuracy using GPS-only positioning to cm-accuracy with highest reliability by using additional GLONASS satellites in combination with Leica SmartTrack+ functionality. Developed for precise machine navigation in demanding conditions, Leica MNS1200 GNSS solution withstands extreme temperatures, worst weather and toughest site conditions. Due to its robustness, the Satelline modem can be mounted on the machine as flexible as the receiver, directly coupled with the receiver or as a stand-alone solution.

Leica MNS1200 GNSS can be upgraded to a survey rover featuring the Leica System 1200 functionality, be used for precise machine navigation, as survey rover for easy applications or as GNSS base station for RTK survey with highest requirements.
