Facelift Access Hire are continuing to build their self drive range of vehicles to take advantage of a rise in demand for self drive hire machines bringing a total of 100 to this area of their fleet.

The company have recently taken delivery of their new 29m Pantel from Italian manufacturer GSR. The access platform was chosen for its working height and outreach, whilst still being mounted on a 7.5 tonne Iveco chassis and comes with several valuable features.

This includes its Sigma ‘Pantel – Extra’ boom which provides over 11 metres up and over reach, and over 15 metres unrestricted outreach. Here the advantage comes from its simple up and over action which provides access to working areas that can’t be reached with straight telescopic machines.

The machines other key benefits include a 220kg lift capacity,140 degree platform rotation and 28.7m of working height as well as heavy-duty hydraulic controls which provide operators with exceptional smoothness and accuracy even at full height and outreach. Its independently controlled stabilisers give effective ground contact and clearance allowing the machine to stabilise on uneven surfaces providing even further advantages.
