ISG awarded medical training facility contract

Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has awarded the fit out of a ten storey premises in Waterloo to ISG. The Trust has taken the lease on the building as part of its estate development plans, and when complete, the building will provide an education and IT centre freeing up vital space on its main hospital sites for clinical developments.

The top five floors will provide facilities for the Trust’s IT Department while the lower five floors will comprise lecture theatres, seminar rooms, mini consulting rooms and a second floor reception.

The £2 million project commenced in mid September 2009 and is due for completion in late January 2010.
