ISG Jackson Special Projects reconfigure former MFI outlet into two smaller units
(31/12/2009)
ISG Jackson Special Projects has secured a £283K contract to convert the former MFI outlet in the Chelmer Village Retail Park in Essex into two smaller units, for Aviva Investors. The contractor previously worked at the park in 2006, delivering a £1.6 million project to reconfigure existing accommodation to create four new retail units.
This latest fast-track contract sees ISG Jackson Special Projects strip out all existing fixtures and fittings within the unit and erecting a fire rated partition wall to subdivide the building to create two new stores. The contractor will over clad the existing roof, remodelling the external façade to form two new entrances. Roller shutter doors will be installed at the rear of the units, with the project scheduled for completion in just 10 weeks.
Stuart Talbot, divisional director for ISG Jackson Special Projects, commented: “We continue to work closely with national asset management businesses, delivering fast track solutions to enhance property portfolios.”
