The Leadbitter Group has secured a place within Sector 2 of the four year Partnership for Schools Contractors' Framework, which covers the whole southern half of England, including London. It is one of 12 successful companies to do so, including nine national contractors and two other major regional players.

The new framework will continue the delivery of the Government's Academies programme and may also include smaller BSF schemes, primary schools and other educational facilities.
Bob Rendell, Group Chief Executive, said, “Our success in securing a place on this major strategic framework is a fantastic achievement and is an excellent opportunity to secure a significant amount of work, at a time when the outlook for our industry is increasingly difficult.

“It is a great accolade for our Company that we received high marks for our technical skill. However, I also believe that our ability to secure a place on this vital framework is a direct result of the increased standing and recognition that our Group has achieved. For that, I am enormously proud of the continued hard work, dedication and professionalism shown by everyone at Leadbitter.”

Leadbitter will manage the framework from its Oxford headquarters with individual projects being delivered via its regional network of local offices in Bristol, Coventry, London, Oxford, Plymouth, Sittingbourne and Southampton.

Leadbitter's delivery strategy is based around an innovative and collaborative method of integrating teams and disciplines, including architects, environmental specialists, engineers, cost planners, ICT advisors and educationalists, supporting a forum to share best practice, provide consistency and pool talent to benefit each individual scheme. Leadbitter also has a well-established community engagement team which focuses on consulting with stakeholders and building links with the wider school community, ensuring that programme benefits are maximised at local level.

Currently, over 30% of the Group's turnover is in the education sector. Leadbitter‟s approach to educational projects is to deliver sustainable, creative and flexible spaces with fully-integrated ICT systems and a design quality that inspires students to learn and develop and enables many possible teaching styles.
