Razzle Dazzle finish produces a glistening effect constantly changing as natural light catches
(22/02/2010)
SureSet has introduced the new Razzle Dazzle finish to its paving range. The name of the new finish, Razzle Dazzle, reflects both the appearance of the material and the effect it creates when laid on a path, driveway, patio, pavement or public space.
Incorporating a blend of recycled glass with metallic flakes, the unique finish produces a striking, glistening effect, constantly changing as natural light catches and reflects off different elements of the surface.
Commenting on the launch of the new finish, SureSet Sales Manager, Lauren Gardiner said: “I’m certain that Razzle Dazzle will prove to be a very popular addition to our range, having already received a fantastic response from our customers. We have a great deal of experience working with recycled glass, with a wide range of products already installed in projects throughout the UK and we look forward to seeing the first project with that extra bit of razzle dazzle over the coming months!”
The Razzle Dazzle mix is completely permeable, allowing water to drain through the surface and so reducing surface run off and the risk of puddles forming. Importantly for home projects, not only is this a key performance benefit, but it also means that there is no need for planning permission to be sought – in 2008, legislation was introduced which requires permission to be obtained in England for any new or re-paving project that is non-permeable.
