Amiri Construction to build a new office block at the Vinnetrow Business Park

Fareham based Amiri Construction has gained a £1m contract awarded by Chichester based Kingsbridge Estates, to build a new single storey pitched roof office block at the Vinnetrow Business Park near Chichester. The U shaped offices will offer 5 business units between 470 sq ft up to 10000 sq ft on the brownfield site. All offices will have views into a landscaped area with parking. The building, to be named The Courtyard, is designed to exceed current building control requirements for energy efficiency.

Mark Hooper, the developer’s Estates Manager, says that there are at currently 2 potential tenants close to signing contracts and Kingsbridge Estates may also relocate to the offices when ready for occupation in January.

“Daring to develop in the current economic climate could be questioned but we are encouraged by the early interest already shown by businesses drawn by the design, location and lower overheads,” said Mark Hooper. “The energy saving credentials of The Courtyard will serve as a benchmark in the area for new build office projects.”

Amiri’s Managing Director Grahame Pettit said that his company is no stranger to the business park having constructed an extension to an existing office building in 2008.
