New Holland telescopic handler range with 8 models to meet various requirements
(23/01/2007)
The New Holland telescopic handler range comprises 8 models to provide the best version / equipment for the most diverse range of applications. The range includes the following models: LM1330 - LM1333 - LM1340 - LM1343 - LM1345 - LM1443 - LM1445 - LM1745
The intelligent numbering system tells you all you need to know about the machine’s capability. The first two digits denote the reach, from 13 to 17 metres; the last two digits denote the maximum lift capacity, from 3000 to 4500 kg and the last digit denotes the stabilisers: 0 for no stabilisers; 3 for narrow stabilisers, where a narrower width is essential to the task in hand; 5 for large, for operations requiring total operational stability.
The New Holland cab, with its rounded, front profile and expansive glazed area, offers the best visibility currently available in the market. The door opens to 180° and is constructed in two sections, enabling the upper section to be opened independently.
Comfort and safety are further enhanced by ergonomically located instruments and controls, with a single, electro-hydraulically controlled, manipulator commanding all 9 functions to provide complete control of all operations.
Proportional control of the boom extension ensures maximum precision for positioning loads and a continuously adjustable steering column ensures a comfortable working position for all operators.
Power is provided through a CNH 4.5 litre turbo engine, developing 82 kW / 112 hp in the turbo-aftercooler version fitted on models LM1440 – LM1745. Both the LM1330 and LM1333 can be supplied with either a naturally aspirated engine (60 kW 82 hp) or a turbo version (71 kW / 97 hp). The engine is mounted longitudinally, so service access, through a wide-opening hood, could not be easier.
The transmission is of the PowerShift type with 4 forward + 3 reverse speeds, ensuring excellent precision in both approach and positioning operations. Top speed, subject to local regulations, is 35 kh/h.
Totally independent movements are granted via a “Load Sensing” – Flow Sharing hydraulic system; the rear-mounted control valve is easily accessible without the need to move other components.
Restricted job sites pose no problems given an outstanding turning radius of only 3.89m and the 4-wheel steering provides the choice of 3 positions: front wheels only, all four wheels or crab steer.
With an eight model choice and a wide range of attachments – forks, buckets, man-platforms, it’s a range that meets all your requirements and, with such versatility, both on job sites and in a wide variety of materials handling and placement operations, delivers the maximum return on the customer’s investment.
