Liebherr Launches New Generation Mining Excavator
(30/03/2007)
Following the recent launch of the R 9250 comes the new R 9350 which, as a 300 tonnes class machine, supersedes the R 994 B Litronic.
This new generation 300-ton excavator is available in either backhoe or face shovel configuration and, equipped with an 18m³ bucket, is capable of filling a 100 tonnes dump truck in around three passes. The power source of the R 9350 is a 1.120 kW / 1.500 hp Cummins-engine.
With the launch of the R 9350, Liebherr is continuing with its new model designation for the mining and quarrying excavator programme. The initial "9" remains the product identifier number for hydraulic excavators but this is now followed by a three-digit number representing the operating weight category for the particular model.
