HSS Hire Ireland becomes largest hirer of Kubota mini excavators in Ireland
Dublin-based HSS Hire Ireland is part of the HSS Hire Service Group, the UK's largest tool and equipment hire chain. Towards the end of 2007, it opened its new Dublin Superstore, with a floor area of 22,955 sq ft, and launched a 26,500 sq ft Superstore in Belfast. Three new mini excavators from JCB
JCB is launching three new mini excavators designed to further enhance JCB’s range of compact models for small contractors, plant hirers, landscapers and utility companies. The three machines include two versions of the new 8055 and the 8020. Based on JCB’s 8045 platform, the 8055 will be available as either reduced tailswing or zero tailswing and will compete in the 5-6 tonne sector. Forth Plant Hire operates Kubota mini excavator fleet
Forth Plant Hire was set up in 1994 with just one machine and now has 20 pieces of assorted plant, which are changed every three years. It also hires out small plant such as cement mixers, compaction plates, rotavators and much more. Forth Plant Hire now operates a 100 per cent Kubota mini excavator fleet after buying a U25-3GL 2.54 tonne zero tail swing model.
