Excavators are the most stolen category of plant and equipment

Plant and equipment theft in the UK has reached an all-time high according to the 2006 Equipment Theft Report. Liebherr to supply tower cranes for the construction of South America's highest building

Liebherr has been awarded an order to supply 13 tower cranes in the size categories between 90 and 200 mt for the building of the Costanera Center. The Costanera Center comprising four office towers is currently being built in the Chilean capital Santiago. Hitachi Sumitomo launches two crawler cranes

Hitachi Sumitomo has announced two new crawler cranes for the European market, the new SCX2800-2 (capacity 275 tonne) and the SCX800 HD-2 (capacity 80 tonne) heavy duty model. The SCX2800-2 succeeds the SCX2500 and is designed for easy self assembly and transport - maximum component weight is 45 tonnes and maximum width is 3 mtrs.
