Ritchie Bros. conducted 32 industrial auctions in nine countries in the first quarter of 2008
Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Incorporated has announced that it achieved net earnings of $16.4 million, or $0.16 per diluted weighted average share, for the first quarter of 2008, compared to net earnings of $17.6 million, or $0.17 per diluted weighted average share, for the first quarter of 2007. Gross auction proceeds for the three months ended March 31, 2008 were $782 million, 12% higher than gross auction proceeds for the first quarter of 2007. Sales, revenues and profit up 18 percent for Caterpillar
Caterpillar Inc. has reported record first-quarter profit per share of $1.45, an 18 percent increase from $1.23 per share in the first quarter of 2007. Sales and revenues of $11.796 billion were also a first-quarter record and 18 percent higher than 2007 first-quarter sales and revenues of $10.016 billion. Seymour Civil Engineering takes delivery of Volvo EW180C wheeled excavators
Seymour Civil Engineering Ltd has taken delivery of two Volvo EW180C rubber ducks for its plant fleet. Although the Hartlepool based civil engineering company currently runs some Volvo B series crawler machines, the two nineteen tonne EW180C are the first Volvo wheeled excavators purchased for the fleet. Says Fleet Manager Stephen Seymour; “We looked at the specification and tried out the performance especially with regard to the machine’s lifting capacity. Wastecycle invests in Volvo loading shovels and excavators
Wastecycle has made a substantial £2m investment at its two licensed facilities at Colwick on the outskirts of Nottingham. Part of this investment process has included the purchase of two Volvo loading shovels and three further Volvo excavators, continuing an association with Volvo Construction Equipment since the company’s inception in 1998. The wheeled loaders in question are an L110F and an L120F which are tasked with rehandling recycled aggregate, soils and the residue waste from the site’s recycling processes.
